Booking indoor tables in advance is recommended – especially in peak season. Almost all venues are dog-friendly (DF).

Some of our favourite places:

Port William Inn, Trebarwith Strand (DF) Located up on the cliff overlooking the sea & beach. Outside tables are on a first come, first served basis.

Tintagel Brewery Bar & Bistro (DF) Closed Monday. A short drive from the cottages. Now serving (an excellent) breakfast from 8am.

The Camelot Castle Hotel, Tintagel Luxurious spot for a drink, cocktails, cake, cream teas, lunch or dinner. Excellent Russian honey cake! Dog-friendly in the bar area. Located on the coast with excellent views over Tintagel Castle.

Crackington Haven: The Coombe Barton Inn (DF) Lovely pub & food. Overlooking the beach.

Rock: The Mariners Paul Ainsworth public house overlooking the Camel Estuary. Dog-friendly downstairs.

Bude: Bank at Bude (DF) outdoor private pods & tables for tapas & cocktails

The Tree of Life Cafe at St Nectan’s Glen (DF) By foot only. Quicker to walk from the cottages than park at their car park off the road towards Boscastle. Lovely walk along the stream and up to the waterfall site – refer to our area page for walk details.

Boscastle Farm Shop & Café Garden area is dog-friendly.

Bossiney Tea Rooms, Bossiney, Tintagel (DF) Cakes, lunches, cream teas. Crazy golf! (closed for winter)

St Merryn, near Padstow: Rick Stein’s Cornish Arms (DF) Lovely large pub. Beer garden with Korev van! A bit further afield but worth the visit and great for exploring the coastline up past Padstow – Constantine Bay etc.

Ye Olde Malthouse Inn, Tintagel village Quaint 14th century tavern. Dogs allowed in the indoor bar & snug areas. Few picnic tables outside.

The Cornishman Inn, Tintagel village (DF) Large beer garden & outdoor terrace. Good variety on the menu 🙂 01840 770238.

The Wootons Inn, Tintagel village (DF) Garden terrace and conservatory looking out towards the countryside/coast and St Materiana’s church.
